Run, walk, or dance into the chilly waters of Big Bear Lake to raise funds for Special Olympics. For just a minimum of $50, you can participate in the coolest event of 2019 - the Polar Plunge. Not only will you brave the cold waters, but you'll have the opportunity to earn incentives, party with friends, and be freezin' for a reason: to help support Special Olympics.

15th Annual Scout Weekend @ Bear Mountain

Available to active Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts. Scouts participating on Scout Weekend will receive a Bear Mountain Scout Weekend Patch.

Give your Scout the opportunity to test their knowledge and on-hill skills while earning a Snow Sports Merit Badge. BSA Merit Badge counselors will be on hand to evaluate Scouts and help them work towards Merit Badges.

Super Girls Snow Pro @ Bear Mountain

This event is a showcase for the world's top female pro and amateur snowboarders, and serves to help locate, mentor, and encourage the next generation of female riders. Air event on March 10. Both competitions are open to the public. The event will feature a vendor village, live concerts, fitness and yoga classes, workshops, autograph sessions, prize giveaways, and more. 

SKI-A-THON 2019-Fundraiser for the US Adaptive Recreational Center in Big Bear

The United States Adaptive Recreation Center is a non-profit organization providing adapted recreation activities through its winter and summer programs to physically and cognitively challenged children and adults. The funds raised in the annual Ski- A-Thon help purchase adaptive ski equipment, train 200 volunteers and professional staff members and subsidize the cost of every single lesson.
