Parmalee are the quintessential  American Country band. The chart-topping quartet pays  to tribute their humble Carolina upbringings with their name and their  sound. Raised on a diet of Southern rock, Country, and blues, they  formed in 2001 as a bunch of small-town boys chasing wild weekend  nights, but their talents eventually took them beyond the little cement  block barn they rehearsed in and onto Country music’s biggest stages and the top of Billboard’s Country chart.

He runs away to Los Angeles, where an unemployed  slacker named Fred O'Hare (James Marsden) accidentally runs into him.  Feigning injury, E.B. tricks Fred into giving him shelter, but an  oversized chick is planning a coup back on Easter Island.

Ultimate Big Trout Fishing Derby

The Ultimate Big Trout Derby at The Pines Lakefront is a  two day biggest trout event. The Friday before each tournament there will be in person sign  ups/release of liability and the Youth Fishing Club Booth from 3-7pm.  Teaching our local mountain young people and anyone interested in  learning different fishing techniques. Prizes will be given out on Sunday afternoon.

Four decades after the inception of X, one thing was clear: X was not only one of the most influential bands to crash out of the of the '70's Punk movement but their music continues to be sonicly groundbreaking. Songs written during the groups inception are as relevant and inventive today as they were in 1977.

International Migratory Bird Day @ The Discovery Center

Activities include birdhouse building, pine cone bird feeders, nature walks, bird walks, and Story Time. Enjoy bird decorations and art and find out what bird has the same wingspan as you!
Migratory Bird Day also kicks off the annual Silent Auction. Bird themed art and photography are donated by local artists for this event as a fundraiser for the Southern California Mountains Foundation. Bids are accepted until Memorial Day. Free!

The Spartan Race Big Bear @ Snow Summit

Spartan Returns to Big Bear Lake with a Beast and  Sprint Weekend   This is a Spartan United States National Series Event   and a Spartan Mountain Series Event both which  will be broadcast  worldwide. New for 2019 is the Spartan Big Bear 10K Trail Run on Sunday  May 19th. Taking place on Snow Summit  Resort the race can access elevations as  high as 8,200 ft and take you back down 1,200 ft of vertical drop.


Ultimate Trout Derby @ Holloway's Marina

Teaching our local mountain young people and anyone interested in learning different fishing techniques. Saturday, the first day of the tournament fishing will begin at 6:30am and fish must be weighed in before 2:30pm. Sunday the second and final day of the tournament fishing will begin at  6:30am and fish must be weighed in by 12:30pm with awards and prizes  after.

Desperado - Premier Eagles Tribute Band @ The Cave
